Description:
DISPOSABLE ADHESIVE SHAMPOO MASK 1 Technical Field 1 The present invention involves a mask that is placed on the customers'face during the shampooing stage at a hair salon. This procedure not only offers convenience for the staff but comfort and hygienic conditions for the customer.

Background Art 1 The present shampoo mask called the"disposable adhesive shampoo mask"is a disposable and sanitary mask made of thin paper or fiber with waterproofing used during shampoo. The purpose of the present invention is to solve unpractical, unsanitary problems while providing a high quality of service and contributing to the development of new services of hair salon.

Today's consumer trends are heading towards instant or disposable products such as instant Kimchi, disposable sanitary napkins & tampons and restaurant napkins. One obvious reason for this trend seems to be convenience, but perhaps the biggest factor is related to the fact that these products are produced in factories where the sanitation conditions are of higher standards. This latter point is especially relevant as people today place more value on their health and sanitary conditions.

With today's growing concern with public sanitation, the hair salon shouldn't be an exception especially given the amount of time and money one spends there; given this the customers that visit hair salons

expect a high level of service and comfort. One can tell by the effort hair salon customers put into their appearance they think highly of their appearance.

Shampooing is necessary for any hair treatment. A head massage during the washing of the hair not only relaxes the customer but also greatly reduces the stress on the hair that is caused by long-term treatments (such as dying and perms) and styling aides cause. The shampooing stage gives the hairdresser an opportunity to talk to the customer so that they can develop relationships and possibly increase business.

Currently the hairdressers use towels, gauze or a mask made of plastic (similar to that of Styrofoam). When the customer's hair is being washed, the mask is placed on the customers'face preventing them from getting water in their eyes and helping to keep make up on. The mask also serves as a means of protection against respiratory diseases or infections. Japan has already applied for some disposable mask patents.

Below are the problems occurred from using the existing method for covering the face.

(A) Towel used in original method The hairdressers fold a hand towel lengthwise and put it on the customer's face, but not to cover the lip to keep the lipstick on.

@Given the amount of towels that must be laundered using this type of

technique, it is very difficult to keep a high sanitary level possibly affecting the customers health by being exposed to harmful germs. @An obvious disadvantage of using the towel is that it has a tendency to fall off while the head is being massaged. @When the customer is wearing mascara or imitation eyelashes, a towel shouldn't be used. @) If a customer is wearing lipstick the towel must be placed around the head avoiding contact with the lips. The problem that arises with not covering the customers'mouth is this leaves customers more susceptible to potentially harmful germs that may be transmitted through close contact with the hairdresser. 23Leaving the nose uncovered, the customer may be exposed to unpleasant smells (such as bad breath and underarm odor) from the staff under washing hair.

(B) @The existing mask made of plastic (called the shampoo mask, registered under the Korean patent No. 20-0224648, is currently on the market. ) is being sold in shops for over 5, 000won competing with products imported from Japan. This mask is not disposable and yet it is commonly being used over and over again after only being washed by hand (this could be worse in the sense of sanitation than using a towel).

Commonly wet masks, not yet dried after use from the previous customer, are used on customers leaving them with a very unpleasant experience. (Though the shampoo mask (Korean patent No. 20- 0224648) has a hole for breathing, the temperature inside gets quite hot as the plastic that serves as protection from the outside air, restricts breathing. @Although this mask was intended to cover all the disadvantages of using the towel, in most areas it turned out to be even more unpractical than using the towel. An example of a plastic mask that

is currently being sold includes disposable sheets of paper that were included to curb the issue of poor sanitation. A sheet of paper is to be put on the face before the mask used serving as protection from the unclean conditions of reusing the same mask. There is a website selling such masks as described above (http llwww. hairO62. co. kr/main frame. htm/material/sundry). This shows that the manufacturer admits the mask is unpractical and potentially unsanitary. Many hairdressers these days use towels rather than plastic masks. @in the Description and Claim of the Request of the shampoo mask (Korean patent No. 20-0224648), there is no evidence that shows the intention to produce it as disposable product in addition, the manufacturing of the mask includes the use of three different layers of plastic ; layer of sterilization, fragrance, and surface which further validates this point.

When manufacturing these plastic masks as disposable products, it is important to take into consideration the environment. @Adding fragrance to the mask should also be considered because adding an artificial scent, which is not proven to be safe, may cause unpleasantness (such as headaches). Due to the masks structural limitations it is not able to hold the aromatic oil. The reasons are explained as below.

As previously stated, the shampoo mask (Korean patent No. 20- 0224648) consists of three layers : a sterilization layer, a fragrance layer and a surface layer.

First, if the aromatic oil is placed in the middle layer (between the sterilization layer and the surface layer) one cannot smell the fragrance.

Second, in the clause of Constitution and Operation of the request for

the shampoo mask (Korean patent No. 20-0224648), it states, "the scent from the sterilization layer and the fragrance layer protects the skin and clears unpleasantness away..."The above statement disproves earlier statements that the mask is airtight. In any case, even if the mask were airtight, the use of aromatic oil would be useless as the oil is volatile when exposed to air.

As the current plastic masks are reusable, the scent should be refilled in the fragrance layer.

Therefore a notable feature of the present disposable adhesive shampoo mask is that it provides mental comfort for customers using the natural aromatic oil.

Japan has applied for a patent for some disposable masks that still have various problems when they are produced as disposable.

There is an invention called"JP, 05-018403, U (1993)" hereinafter referred to as JP_05-018403_U>. In its request it is described" [Claim 1] The mask for a shampoo which attached the adhesive tape of lamination and gap prevention for the leaf paper pattern of the tree of two sheets with permeability.". (i) If JP 05-018403 U is made of paper with adhesive tape, the tape won't stick to the paper or face if it becomes wet while the hairdresser is washing the customers hair. Most important is that the paper itself cannot properly protect the face from the water. Though the mask is supposed to protect makeup from detergent or hair dye dripping on the forehead, it can easily tear when a hairdresser moves the mask with his/her wet hands.

According to its request the material of JP 05-018403 U must not be thin paper but thick. Because JP_05-018403 U has no ventilation it causes the inside to become damp and hot when the customer breathes.

If water falls on the mask and drips down the side of the face, it will ruin make up since the mask takes the shape of an oval dome. @This mask doesn't take into consideration the changing ways in which customers sit during the shampooing of the hair. These days the customers sit on the chair almost straight or little leaned back during shampooing while in the past they used to lie down. JP05-018403U was invented. Given this, it's unrealistic to use a mask designed for another style of shampooing that is now outdated. Because of the way JP05-018403U is shaped, similar to that of two leaves put together in a dome-shape, and placed on the face this leaves gaps around the forehead and cheeks thus water can drip on the forehead and down the side of the face when the customers sit on the chair instead of lying down. This method is worse than using towels that are able to absorb the water. @) Because JP 05-018403 U uses tape made of PPT, it is ecologically harmful and in terms of productivity it is less effective than glue (12) of the present disposable shampoo mask. @Even when masks are manufactured using thick paper, comfort seems to be jeopardized. Taking all these points into account it seems obvious that these disposable masks have many flaws thus are not worth producing.

There is another Japanese mask called"JP, 08- 131233, A (1996)"<hereinafter referred to as, JP 08-131233 A >. In its request, it states: " [0011] [Function].... the mask concerning this invention has formed in the mask center section the protrusion which presents an abbreviation nasus-externus configuration, and this protrusion can hold a covering person's nose (nasus externus), and, thereby, it can stop a mask on the face. Therefore, even if a head moves somewhat during a

shampoo, while a mask does not shift and being able to protect a covering person's face from shampoo water or a shampoo good, the staff can do shampoo work efficiently. [0012] On the other hand, since opening for respiration is prepared in the soffit section (nostril position) of a protrusion even if the whole face is covered with a mask, a covering person can breathe comfortably. Moreover, since expiration is discharged outside from this opening and it is not filled with a sigh in a mask, it is not stifling, and it has not been got turned up by the mask by the sigh, or does not fly. Furthermore, it can prevent messy makeup etc. while it is easy to equip, since this mask should just carry the aforementioned protrusion according to a covering person's nose position. [0013] As a material which constitutes a mask, paper, cloth material (a nonwoven fabric or textile fabrics), synthetic-resin material, etc. can be used, for example, and especially the quality of the material is not limited. However, in order to soften the dazzle of lighting so that a face may be transparent and it may not be visible and, it is desirable to use an opaque material. (The rest is omitted.)... 0015] Also by the material which has a certain amount of thickness and was equipped with rigidity, the material which constitutes a mask 10 is good and the material of the shape of a flexible sheet may be used for it. That is, as a rigid material, pasteboard (what piled up the so-called board and so-called thin paper in layers) can be used, for example. Material cost is cheap and it is because it can consider as throwing away. Moreover, you may use various kinds of synthetic-resin material, such as polyethylene, and polystyrene, form polystyrene. However, when such a rigid material constitutes a mask, it is desirable to make the whole mask into the curved configuration, as shown in drawing. It is for making it fit well with the face. [0016] On the

other hand, as a flexible sheet-like material, the home tissue paper currently used for the paper towel, the paper napkin, etc. , the nonwoven fabric currently used for the steamed towel etc. can be used, for example.

These are because the touch is also good for the top where material cost is cheap. In addition, although both dry type and wet are usable as for a nonwoven fabric, it is desirable to use a wet nonwoven fabric from the point of a manufacturing cost. Furthermore, Japanese paper, textile fabrics, synthetic-resin films (for example, a polyethylene film, a vinyl chloride film, etc. ), a metal film (for example, aluminum film), etc. can also be used. [0017] However, when such a sheet-like material constitutes a mask, it is desirable to give at least the rigidity of the grade which can hold a nasus-externus configuration to a protrusion 11. While making easy wearing (fitting to the nose of a protrusion) of a mask, it is for stopping a mask 10 certainly in the regular position of the face by this protrusion 11, and securing the respiratory opening 12. What is necessary is to increase thickness for a material in piles to a multilayer, or just to specifically, process performing sinking [of a sizing agent] in, and pouring of a resin etc. In addition, you may constitute a mask 10 combining both materials, such as forming a protrusion 11 by the rigid material, and forming peripheries 13 other than a protrusion by the flexibility material. [0020] This invention is not limited to the aforementioned example and various change is possible for it about the size of a mask, a whole configuration, the configuration of respiratory opening, etc. For example, although drawing 3 shows another example of composition of the mask concerning this invention, this mask 20 forms the opening 15 which can expose the labial section succeeding the respiratory opening 12 with which the mask 10 of the aforementioned

example is equipped. While such mask structure, then respiration become still easier, it can talk with the work staff easily, for example during a shampoo. As furthermore shown in drawing 4, it does not matter as structure (it is notch **** about a mask soffit) which the opening 15 which can expose the labial section was made to follow to a <BR> mask soffit. [Claim (s) ] [Claim 1] The mask for a shampoo characterized by preparing opening for breathing in the soffit section of this protrusion while forming the protrusion which presents a ****** configuration for the face in the center section of this mask in the mask for a wrap shampoo at the time of a shampoo.

This document has been translated by computer. So the translation may not reflect the original precisely.

2. **** shows the word which can not be translated.

3. In the drawings, any words are not translated...." But JP 08-131233 A doesn't take into account the changing ways in which customers sit during the shampooing of the hair. These days the customers sit on the chair almost straight or little leaned back during shampooing while in the past when JP_08-131233_A was invented they used to lie down. As JP_08-131233_A often becomes unattached allowing water to come in, using a towel proves to be more effective.

When JP 08-131233 A is made of plastic according to its request, it could properly cover the face but it still encounters the same problems as Korean patent No. 20-0224648 (as previously mentioned). In the

request of JP 08-131233 A it states that it is possible to produce a mask made from materials that are soft, hard or a combination both materials.

The materials that are chosen have an oval shape to fit the profile of the face as it describes in the request JP_08-131233_A"The perspective diagram and drawing 2 which show an example of the mask for a shampoo which drawing 1 requires for this invention are the direction view of A of drawing 1. Like the illustration, while it has the flat-surface configuration of wrap ellipse type for the whole mostly and this mask 10 forms in the center section the protrusion 11 of the face which presents an abbreviation nasus-externus configuration along with the profile of a face,..". Among the choice of materials, ranging from soft to hard, that can be used include: cardboard, plastic, paper, felt, film, vinyl and aluminum. It is also suggested that soft materials should be compounded with hard ones as soft materials tend not to keep their shape when fixed on the nose. Below are the limitations and disadvantages of JP_08-131233_A.

In the request of JP 08-131233_A it states (@that the mask is placed on the nose as a means to ensure the it stays in place yet this seems impossible as customers today slightly lean back in the chair. It seems impossible to protect the face from the water if the mask cannot be properly secured. If pressure is put on the mask in order to prevent it from moving or falling, it will make cause the customer discomfort.

@since waterproofing is not considered, according to its request, material should be doubled to protect against water, creating more weight on the customers possibly causing more discomfort. The use of paper, felt, synthetic resin or vinyl in JP 08-131233_A wasn't intended to serve as a waterproofing system but it was used with the thought it

would be easier then using the soft material in order to keep the mask in place by fixing it to the nose. The request of JP 08-131233 A states that if materials are doubled, this would serve as a means of waterproofing.

But again doubling the material as a means of waterproofing would only cause the customer discomfort due to the heavy weight of the materials.

) Usually the size of a mask should exceed the dimension of the customers face as the hair dresser cannot properly shampoo the head. If enough water falls on the mask it will drip down the side of the mask ruining makeup. (d) Even though JP 08-131233 A is placed on the nose with the thought of better securing the mask, this doesn't seem to be effective as it often becomes slightly or completely unattached to the forehead letting water in. (0) The mask should cover the mouth in order to protect against viruses, saliva, and possible unpleasant smells. But according to Request of JP 08-131233 A the mask around a mouth is open for breathing but this creates unsanitary conditions during conversation. Even if a hole is created around the nose, serving as ventilation, the lips will still touch the mask causing the lipstick to be ruined. (D When using JP 08-131233 A, a hair dresser must sometimes adjust it with their wet hands possibly ruining the makeup when water drips down the forehead and to the side of the face. OO Using JP_08-131233 A, the mask is most comfortable when it is loosely attached to the face, giving the skin a neater and softer feeling, but this ruins mascara or false eyelashes. @It's impossible to perform aroma therapy using ** JP 08-131233 A which, in the future, will be the main treatment in scalp therapy; a more progressive step than shampooing.

(D It is unreasonable that JP 08-131233 A states that this mask can be produced using any materials with no limitations. Limitations should be

in place in order for the factory to be able to produce the mask with specific materials.

Therefore because we have never had sanitary disposable masks produced at a facility that maintains high sanitation standards, the current shampoo masks are at a low quality.

These days'customers base their satisfaction on the attitude of the hair dresser, that they do their best, special hair treatments and that they are respected. The hairdresser also has the opportunity to have a conversation with the customer especially during a lengthy hair treatment. Sometimes hairdressers can ease customers'stress simply by listening to them. Some customers just want to be recognized and praised for their individuality, talk about the success of their family or their recently purchased clothes or accessories.

Therefore the function of the hair salon is not only includes the treatment of customers'hair but it can also give the customers mental satisfaction that will affect the future success of the business.

These days it is becoming harder to satisfy customers with regular hair services such as dying, cutting and perms. If a salon performs such basic services they may see a decreasing profit. In order to make profit a unique new service that customers want should be created.

As the function and role of shampooing is various, it is necessary to meet and exceed the needs of the customers by creating new services in hair salons. Considering the change in today's clientele, using towels or synthetic resin masks isn't efficient. I'll describe below that the present invention is scientific and can keep up with the today's changing society.

These days many customers have various kinds of skin conditions on the scalp. Skin troubles such as dryness, oiliness, dandruff, pimples, itching, and alopecia are closely related to stress. The scalp shows different reactions depending on the condition. It is advisable to try to get rid of stress as well as take medical treatment to heal these skin troubles.

So many hair salons and skin clinics provide scalp, foot, face, and body massages in order to release customers'stress.

Previously shampooing simply involved washing hair before and after a cut, perm or dying. Today the function of shampooing involves more than just washing the hair, it involves scalp care to meet today's ever-growing needs. As a result, offering such services will play an important role in increasing business.

More and more, hair salons are researching new services and importing relating to different kinds of skin conditions or inventing cures they can produce themselves. But realistically it's rare to find a hair salon that is equipped with specialized products for the scalp. But definitely this trend in hair salons will soon follow. We'll soon see customers enjoying a therapeutic scalp massage, body massage while having their hair shampooed all while listening to soothing music to help improve the skin or enjoying a nap. It's hard to imagine hair salons using unsanitary towels or unpractical synthetic resin masks instead of a disposable shampoo mask produced through a manufacturing process.

Further more it is hard to expect these types of products to meet the needs of high-level customers.

Therefore only the present invention can keep up with today's changing customer needs that require various services. The invention

as described below follow today's trends and importantly prevents customers from getting water in their eyes and helping to keep make up on. ldetail description of invention] I'll describe below the purpose of the present invention that will help satisfy customers while contributing a new service solving the problems that occur when a towels or synthetic resin masks is used.

(A) In order to serve the same purpose as towels or synthetic resin masks: the present invention should be made of materials that can prevent the customer from getting water in their eyes and help to keep their make up on.

(fi) the present invention should protect the customer from respiratory diseases or infections and from taking the unpleasant smells (such as bad breath) while their hair is being washed.

(B) ln order to solve the problems related to sanitation when towels or synthetic resin masks are used: @ The present invention should be a disposable and sanitary product produced through a manufacturing process instead of unsanitary towels that collect dust and fluff from laundering or synthetic resin masks that become unsanitary through using over and over again. dz The present invention should be produced taking into consideration lightness, softness, and ventilation. The towel and synthetic resin mask were heavy and had problems with ventilation.

(The present invention should have a device that fixes to the face in order to solve the previous problem of the mask becoming loose

during shampooing or the head massage ruining makeup.

) The present invention should cover the mouth yet not pose problems for the customer to breath. It should also be made of materials that that can have a soft, light feeling when placed on the customers face.

It should prevent the unsanitary conditions mentioned in oxo of (A).

(h) The present invention should prevent the problem of water dripping along the sides of the mask.

(D The present invention should block water that used to come in through a gap around a forehead when towels or synthetic resin masks were used.

OO The present invention should have no problems when a hair dresser moves the mask with their wet hands. The towels and synthetic resin masks proved difficult for the hairdresser to move in an attempt to prevent water from coming in along the forehead.

(g) The present invention should prevent mascara or false eyelashes from being ruined.

The present invention should be securely fixed to the face.

(D The present invention should use adhesive tape and not simply film like materials that are easy to mass produce. The tape should have another practical function besides that of fixing to the face.

(C) The present invention has solved the technical problems that towels or synthetic resin masks had. zu Customers can spend many hours at a hair salons having many services performed on them thus they expect a high quality service and comfort. Today hair salon can't reach customers' satisfaction simply by providing treatments such as cutting, perm, and dying. Sometimes dust circulates sweeping up hair on the floor and

there can be also strong smells of hair dye or perms which all can cause customers discomfort.

Therefore the present invention should have a function that can release customers'stress during head massage.

These days we often find scalp conditions most often caused from chronic stress. Hair salons can create a new service such as scalp treatment that, by using new devices, could possibly cure problems on the scalp. Given the changing needs with today's customers, it's unreasonable to use towels or synthetic resin masks. Therefore the present invention should have an advantage to match the new services that lead to the success of business.

(Lastly, in today's society, it's a fatal mistake to produce goods without considering the environment; At the same time it shouldn't be harmful to people. Therefore all the materials of the present invention should be ecological and harmless.

The present disposable adhesive shampoo mask is made fulfilling all the mentioned tasks and solving all the problems associated with the previously described methods.

First of all the present invention is made of materials such as thin paper or fibers that are disposable, economic in producing expenses allowing simple manufacturing.

This invention has solved the unsanitary conditions that occurred from using towels and synthetic resin masks. With the present invention, customers don't feel a sense of heaviness or get hot when using the mask.

In figure 4 it is made of disposable material such as paper or fibers sized according to the face. The paper or fiber used should be

thin enough to give the customers a soft and light pleasant feeling. For example it should be thin like that of the packaging of a hamburger or the paper that is used for pills.

As the present invention is made of thin paper or fibers it easily stays attached to the face. While JP_08-131233_A is made by combing many kinds of flexible materials intended not only to keep the oval shape but also so the mask to be fixed on the nose, According to the request JP_08-131233 A stating that"The perspective diagram and drawing 2 which show an example of the mask for a shampoo which drawing 1 requires for this invention are the direction view of A of drawing 1. Like illustration, while it has the flat-surface configuration of wrap ellipse type for the whole mostly and this mask 10 forms in the center section the protrusion 11 of the face which presents an abbreviation nasus-externus configuration along with the profile of a face,.. [0017] However, when such a sheet-like material constitutes a mask, it is desirable to give at least the rigidity of the grade that can hold a nasus-externus configuration to a protrusion 11. In addition, you may constitute a mask 10 combining both materials, such as forming a protrusion 11 by the rigid material, and forming peripheries 13 other than a protrusion by the flexibility material." The present invention includes a waterproofed coating on the surface to prevent water from passing through the thin material further

preventing ruining of the makeup. In addition, the coating should be thin to prevent customers from feeling too much pressure on the face or from becoming too hot.

The material of the coating should be either engineering plastic film that used in milk cartons and in the packaging pills, or polyester film used in the coating of hamburger wrappers, or acetic acid that can all be recycled.

We call this coating on the surface of outside (1) as displayed in figure 4. The present invention is the same size as a face. The purpose of surface of outside (1) is to prevent water from falling on a face and ruining the makeup which the previous invention couldn't achieve. In figure. 5 we can see that the bottom half of the mask is cut out, this is called lip-space (14). As the bottom half of the mask is cut out when this new mask is placed on the face, the nostrils and mouth can be exposed through this space. Due to the lip-space (14) on the outside (1) lipstick isn't ruined.

The mouth-cover shown in figure. 9 is attached over the outside (1) including the lip-space (14). As we can see in figure. 2 the mouth-cover (7) attached to the outside (1) is a fan-shaped cover that covers from the nose to the chin leaving the lip-space (14) open. The mouth-cover (7) has an opening around the chin, which looks like an inlet of a cave. Therefore from the opening of the mouth-cover (7) to the lip-space (14) there forms a tunnel that is called the hall (6). This hall (6) functions as ventilation. Since the hall (6) has space for the mouth, the inside (10) doesn't touch the lipstick and further customers are protected from any germs or from being touched on the lips by mistake. According to the request JP_08-131233_A stating that" [0020] this invention is not limited to the

aforementioned example and various change is possible for it about the size of a mask, a whole configuration, the configuration of respiratory opening, etc. For example, although drawing 3 shows another example of composition of the mask concerning this invention, this mask 20 forms the opening 15 which can expose the labial section succeeding the respiratory opening 12 with which the mask 10 of the aforementioned example is equipped. While such mask structure, then respiration become still easier, it can talk with the work staff easily, for example during a shampoo. As furthermore shown in drawing 4, it does not matter as structure (it is notch **** about a mask soffit) which the opening 15 which can expose the labial section was made to follow to a mask soffit. "this is unsanitary because the mouth is exposed without any cover. The present invention includes a mouth-cover (7) protecting against catching a respiratory disease or infection during conversation.

As shown in figure. 9 the mouth-cover (7) is consisted of two layers with each layer consisting of different materials. The first layer in the bottom half which includes the mouth-cover and the slit (3) uses the same material as the coating outside (1) and the other is the upper part called ventilation layer (16) using such fibers as felt that passes air easily. This part together with the hall (6) functions as ventilation so the customer doesn't feel hot or restricted. The hall (6) includes the lip-space (14), both the inside and bottom half of the mouth-cover (7) as well as the opening of the mouth cover as indicated in black mark in figure. 1. With the previous invention, mascara or false eyelashes used to be ruined during the shampooing of the hair. In order to prevent that from happening, the present invention's upper part of the outside (1) is cut out as shown in figure. 5, we call this eye-space (15). The eye-space allows

the eyes and eyebrows to be exposed on the outside (1). The eye-cover (2) in figure. 8 is attached on the outside (1) over the eye-space. As shown in figure. 8 the eye-cover (2) is a dome shaped cover that protects the eyes.

The eye-cover (2) is the dome shaped part of the outside (1) including eye- space (15) and functions as protection for the eyelashes. Additionally the eye-cover (2) protects the customers'feeling from becoming uneasy, as stared by the staff while the hair is being washed.

Previously, in an attempt to prevent shampoo from dripping onto the customers'face and ruining their make up, the hair dresser had to readjust the mask with shampoo-wet hands. To solve that problem, shown in figure. 1, the present invention includes a handle (8) as seen in figure. 7. The handle (8) allows a hair dresser to move the mask easily without touching the face. Figure 7 is the enlarged drawing of the handle (8). The material of the handle (8) is the same as that of the outside (1). The present invention includes an absorbing layer of outside (9), as shown in figure. 6, around the outside (1). It is made of fibers that absorb well and offers protection from any water that may fall on the mask. Due to its efficient absorbing layer, the amount of water it can absorb surpass that of the towel.

In figure. 4 we call the uncoated surface of the outside (1) the inside (10). Figure. 3 shows a completed form of the inside of figure. 1 and figure. 2. Since the inside of figure. 3 is supposed to be placed directly on the face, it is made of thin paper or fibers giving a soft and light feeling.

JP 05-018403 U and JP 08-131233 A cause the customer discomfort with feeling a heavy, hard and hot feeling. On the inside (10) around the forehead glue (12) is spread allowing the mask to properly attach to the face (such as disposable scratch paper that is spread the glue on). Using

glue is more efficient than the PPT tape used in JP5-018403U. The glue (12) is spread on the flattest part of the face, the forehead. This makes it possible to solve the problems encountered with the PPT tape used in JP_05-018403 U. Attaching the tape to the cheek leaves a gap between the forehead and the mask allowing water to come in because the customers sit slightly leaned back in the chair. The function of the glue (12) is not for fixing the mask to a face but also preventing water from entering along the surface of the inside (10). The glue (12) has the minimum adhesive strength, just enough to attach to the face without leaving any traces on the skin. The ingredient of the glue (12) is Emulsion Based Adhesive harmless to the human body and it can be easily manufactured (such as an adhesive plaster in medical products and cosmetic adhesive). The glue (12) has a strip-namely, glue strip (13)- made of film that protects the adhesiveness and keeps it sterilized. As the previous invention (Korean patent No. 20-0224648) was designed as a semi permanent mask, it contained many antibiotic substances that increased the risk of giving off harmful environmental hormones. The present invention is designed to be disposable, it requires only a small quantity of antibiotic substances. The part indicated in black lines beneath the glue (12) is called the absorbing layer of inside (11). It is made of fibers and the function is to absorb any water that might seep through the glue (12) dripping down the inside (10). But the absorbing layer of inside (lu.) is thinner than the absorbing layer of outside (9) it gives the customer a light feeling when placed on the face.

One of the purposes of the present invention is to upgrade the level of service in hair salons providing improved sanitation meeting the needs of customers. Aromatic oil is used in Aromatherapy to not only

mask the smell of some hair treatments, but also to improve mental health, reducing stress and fatigue. The present invention requires only a small amount of aromatic oil for aromatherapy. Aromatic oil not only easily absorbs in paper and fibers but easily evaporates when exposed to the air therefore once aromatic oil is opened it should be stored in airtight packaging. Figure. 10 is the enlarged askant drawing on the inside with a lengthwise slit in mouth-cover. As shown in figure. 10 there is small slit (3) in the mouth-cover (7) of the outside (1) and aroma gauze (4) in figure. 11 is placed in the slit (3). Aroma gauze (4) is made of tiny piece of fibers, on which aromatic oil is placed. After the aroma gauze is put in the slit (3), the perfume strip (5) made of film, seals the slit until it is used.

As soon as the perfume strip (5) is removed, aromatic oil in the hall (6) will be spread giving comfort and releasing fatigue and stress with scalp massage, which can be obtained during aromatherapy.

In conclusion the disposable adhesive shampoo mask is a sanitary invention featuring aroma gauze (4), absorbing layer of outside (9), handle (8), eye-cover (2), slit (3), mouth-cover (7), and glue (12).

The harmonization of all features will contribute to a development of new services such as scalp massages and aromatherapy.

[industrial Applicability] People today avoid what is called 3-D jobs (dirty, dangerous, difficult) and the hair salon falls into this category. Given this, it is hard to staff a salon with highly qualified experts necessary to maintain a high-level service hair-salon. Partly the reason is low wages and long working hours and additional work such as cleaning. Perhaps the main reason is due to the old working system of the hair salon. Because a hair salon doesn't have invested capital (like the hospitals), they don't

have people who perform specialized tasks such as cleaning the floor.

The present invention can play a crucial role in helping creating a more specialized system in the hair salon.

As more large-scale salons open, the trend in hiring will need to become more specialized with cashiers, cleaners, and assistant hairdressers. As shampooing is the hardest work hairdressers do, this is perhaps one area in need of immediate specialization. Therefore when the worker who is an expert in shampooing provides shampoo-related services, the present invention (that is scientifically designed and sanitary) will play an important role and as a result it will increase business.
