Abstract:
Provided is a disposable diaper which is capable of controlling deformation of an absorbent core due to movements of the legs and continuing to cover the body with the absorbent core. The disposable diaper (10) includes an absorbent core (31), a fastening tape (91) that is arranged in a rear waist region, and a waist holding region (60) that extends laterally in a front waist region and the rear waist region. The absorbent core has a pair of deformation base point portions (80) which extend laterally outward toward the front and are disposed laterally spaced apart. At least a portion of the deformation base point portions is formed in a stomach region (R20) between a first virtual line (VL1) and a third virtual line (VL3), where the first virtual line (VL1) extends laterally and passes along a rear edge of the waist holding region in the front waist region, a second virtual line (VL3) extends laterally and passes the longitudinal center of the disposable diaper, and the third virtual line (VL3) extends laterally and passes the longitudinal center between the first virtual line and the second virtual line.
