Abstract:
This disposable nappy (10) is provided with a waist expansion/contraction part (85) provided between a pair of fastening tapes. The waist expansion/contraction part (85) extends from the centre of the disposable nappy in the width direction towards both outsides in the width direction. The waist expansion/contraction part (85) is provided with: first areas (851) which extend inwards in the width direction from both outside edges of the waist expansion/contraction part; second areas (852) which extend inwards in the width direction from inside edges of the first areas, and which have a lower elongation percentage than the first areas; and a third area (853) which extends inwards in the width direction from inside edges of the second areas, and which has a higher elongation percentage than the second areas. At least a portion of each of the first areas is positioned outside an absorbent core in the width direction.
