" Disposable Trash Basket for Tea Dross and Aqueous Waste Food "

0001 This invention relates to Human Necessities in subfields Domestic Articles and Hygiene .

Background of the invention

0002 The background problem in this case is lack of proper facility for discarding tea dross of pot and aqueous waste food of dishes such as stew , potage or salad residue in home kitchen . So that when there is a large amount of aqueous waste food such as half a kilo , there is no proper receiver in kitchenware for draining it prior to discarding the gross garbage into the main trash can.

0003 Permanent basket is used somewhere for this purpose for draining aqueous waste food and tea dross and collecting the solid garbage for later discharge into the main trash can of kitchen . Daily washing of this basket is necessary which is a disgusting task due to sticking the food residue in the basket and perforations and also may cause contamination during cooking tasks through user's hand . In addition perfect cleaning of this kind of basket is not usually possible due to accumulation of stain inside the

perforations that makes a dirty appearance .

0004 By using disposable kind of trash basket instead of permanent kind , the need of daily cleaning of basket is eliminated and accumulation of dirty doesn't occur. 0005 The outcome is comfort for housewife in regard with discarding waste food and the field of sink would remain neat and tidy by every day renewal of basket .

0006 Another close prior art is disposable drain strainer (8 in figure 18) (US 7736499 B2 ) that sits on sewage inlet of sink ( 6 in figure 18) instead of drain strainer(7 in figure 18). It has specific size with limited capacity for containing small amounts of waste food and there is no possibility for increasing capacity , so it's not sufficient in case of larger amounts of aqueous waste food of dishes such as 0.5 kg . Also it indicates specific size to fit on specific sink inlet so it may not fit on every sink inlet(6). In addition a convex ring portion sat on drain rim may cause a barrier in drainage of floor surface of the sink. Further more it is made of light material and may move unwantedly in washing water stream.

0007 The mentioned document is not relevant to this invention because this invention is an independent basket in various sizes that sits freely on floor surface of the sink (5 in figure 18) (or any other surface) and there is no need to fit the sink inlet , it is proper for containing and collecting larger amounts of aqueous waste food up to 1_ kg , draining it and transferring the residue easily into the main trash can. So that user can collect solid portion of aqueous food garbage of a day in the invention and throw out the invention and its content both together without touching garbage .

0008 Another irrelevant prior art is disposable basket for picked fruits which is made of crossover bars and has distances between bars and is not possible for this purpose at all , however this invention is special disposable basket characterised by numerous small perforations and legs underneath the floor of basket for draining liquids and enmeshing small pieces of tea dross and waste food.

Disclosure of Invention

0009 The invention includes various modes of thin container (e.g. 0.25 mm thickness ) characterised by small perforations (e.g. 2 mm diameter) and legs , made of paperboard , aluminium foil , plastic and foam applied as disposable basket for collecting and draining tea dross and aqueous waste food of kitchen prior to discarding into main trash can (figures 1 -18) .

0010 The technical progress in this case is taking advantage of the technology of fabricating disposable container for producing disposable basket .So that in paperboard and aluminium mode the product is made through punching the paperboard sheet or aluminum foil within the process of forming container on mold .But in case of plastic mode , product is made by conventional process of fabricating disposable plastic container characterized by additional step of punching the floor and walls by existing technology of punching for making perforations after forming the containers in process of production. The foam mode is made by the same method , punching after fabrication of container .

0011 In the viewpoint of function the invention is a disposable container which is characterised by small perforations and legs for collecting solid part of aqueous waste food and tea dross up to 1_ kg for later discarding . This facilitates the process of discarding pieces of garbage of dishes during a day .The food garbage is collected during the day and the sum is thrown out together with the invention and there is no washing task. 0013 The invention comprises a range of modes of thin perforated container with legs (2) or rim around the lower surface(1) comprising handle(s) , made of aluminium foil , paperboard , plastic and foam which applies as disposable basket. The thickness of container is 0.05 - 2 mm (0.2 - 2 mm for paperboard mode ,0.1 - 1 mm for plastic mode , 0.05 - 1 mm for aluminium mode and 0.5 -2 mm for foam mode). Perforations are holes and grooves The diameter of holes and width of grooves are 1 - 4 mm .

0014 The invention is in various sizes and shapes . The figures are round , square , rectangle , triangle , pentagon , hexagon, oval , flower-shaped , etc. in horizontal cross section , with downward extensions of the floor of the container to space the beneath surface of the container to let the liquids out . Extensions are curved rim all around the lower surface of container (1) or extensions of the floor of the container as legs (2) .

0015 The walls of baskets may be parallel or divergent , cylindrical or reverse conical ( vase -shape ), straight or curved and the mode of surfaces may be smooth or ruffled ( longitudinal or transverse or concentric) , flat or corrugated ( longitudinal or transverse ) or plaid , squamate or shutters-like ( longitudinal or transverse ) , or combination of modes .

0016 The walls are colourless , colourful and painted .

0017 The container has various types of holes or grooves with different

arrangements of perforations on the walls . Holes are round , oval , square , rectangle, triangle , pentagon , hexagon , star-like and any other shape such as long groove which is arranged radicular , concentric or clustered .

0018 The container is used for collecting and draining tea dross and aqueous waste food prior to discarding into main trash can as disposable article .

Practical application of the invention

0019 This invention is used as a kitchenware in the sink specified for collecting the solid portion of the food garbage mixed with liquid ( such as stew , potage or salad residue and tea dross ) and let the liquids be drained away into the sink and transfer the remaining residue into the main trash can .

0020 The invention differs from sink strainer that sits on sewage inlet of sink .This is a free basket with up to 1_ kg capacity due to its size applying on floor surface of the sink in kitchens .
