Abstract:
A disposer (5) comprises: a casing (10), the upper part of which is provided with a loading part (PIN) for loading in kitchen waste and the lower side surface of which is provided with a discharge part (POUT) that discharges water and kitchen waste together; a rotating plate (32) that is capable of rotating and that divides the internal space of the casing (10) into a crushing chamber (RC) positioned on the loading part (PIN) side and a discharge chamber (RD positioned on the discharge part (POUT) side; a hammer (33) provided to the rotating plate (32); and annular fixed teeth (34) that are provided to the inside surface of the casing (10) so as to encircle the periphery of the rotating plate (32) at a gap apart, and that together with the hammer (33) crush the kitchen waste. An eaves part (14L) that regulates communication in a vertical direction relative to the gap between the rotating plate (32) and the fixed teeth (34) is formed in the upper part of the discharge part (POUT).
