Abstract:
A distal-end cover for an endoscope, the distal-end cover being molded by injecting a resin into a molding die, the distal-end cover being mounted to a distal-end member to which a raising base of an insertion part is provided in an endoscope, and the distal-end cover covering at least a portion of the distal-end member and having an opening whereby a space in which the raising base is accommodated is exposed to the outside, wherein the distal-end cover for an endoscope is provided with: a linearly extending thin-walled part, one end of which is connected to a peripheral edge part of the opening; and two resin injection gate marks disposed so as to cross the thin-walled part.
