Abstract:
This distance calculation device is provided with: a high precision distance information generation unit which generates, by using an output from a sensor, high precision distance information that is information on a highly precise distance; a low precision distance information generation unit which generates, by using an output from the sensor, low precision distance information, the degree of precision of which is lower than that of the high precision distance information; and a distance correction unit which corrects the low precision distance information by using the high precision distance information.
