Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a distance information provision device that provides information for calculating the distance between the distal end of a bubble ejection device and a substance subjected to bubble ejection, the distance information provision device being such that a configuration provided to a bubble ejection device is used. The aforementioned problem is solved by a distance information provision device that provides information for calculating the distance between the distal end of a bubble ejection device and a substance subjected to bubble ejection, wherein: the distance information provision device comprises at least a bubble ejection device and an electrical characteristic measurement unit; the bubble ejection device includes an electrode formed from an electroconductive material, and an insulation material that covers at least the distal-end portion of the electrode; at least part of the insulation material forms a bubble ejection opening; a gap covered by the insulation material is formed between the distal end of the electrode and the bubble ejection opening; and the electrical characteristic measurement unit measures the electrical characteristics between the electrode of the bubble ejection device and a counter electrode, thereby providing information for calculating the distance between the distal end of the bubble ejection device and the substance subjected to bubble ejection.
