Abstract:
A distance measurement apparatus (100-1) sets the position of a measurement point (P) as a parameter and measures the distance to the measurement point (P) using a triangulation system. The distance measurement apparatus (100-1) is provided with: a light-emitting unit (2) that irradiates the measurement point (P) with a light beam (L); an imaging unit (3) that receives reflected light (RL) of the light beam (L) with which the measurement point (P) was irradiated and generates a first signal (S1) indicating the brightness of the reflected light (RL), and that receives background light and generates a second signal (S2) indicating the brightness of a background; and a computation unit (13) that computes the position of the measurement point (P) with reference to the difference between the first signal (S1) and the second signal (S2).
