Abstract:
A distance measurement device comprises: a display unit; a memory in which map information of golf courses is stored; a location acquisition sensor for acquiring a current position; a distance measurement sensor for measuring the distance to a target; a slope sensor for measuring an inclined tilt angle; and a control unit for reading, from the memory, the map information of the golf course corresponding to the current position, calculating a horizontal distance value to the target by using the distance value to the target and the tilt angle, and displaying, on the display unit, a course map image in which an object corresponding to the current position and a first indication line, of which points spaced apart from the current position are connected according to the horizontal distance value, are displayed by using the map information.
