Abstract:
The present invention achieves a configuration in which a light source unit, which has a plurality of light sources, and a distance measurement device (camera) are controlled by discrete clocks and the light sources can be placed in discretionary positions. In the present invention, a distance to an object is calculated through the photography using a ToF sensor of light that has been reflected by the surface of the object after being output from a plurality of light sources of a light source unit. A sensor clock for controlling the photography timing of the ToF sensor is a device-specific clock different from a light source unit clock for controlling the light emission timings of the light sources of the light source unit. A distance measurement device generates a plurality of difference calculation equations that are distance calculation equations for calculating the distances from each light source to the device and uses the generated difference calculation equations to calculate the distance to the object.
