Abstract:
A distance measurement device (1) is provided with: a mirror (34) that is disposed so as to be tilted with respect to a rotation center axis (R10); drive parts (12, 23, 24) that rotate the mirror (34) about the rotation center axis (R10); a photodetector (37) that detects a reflected beam of a laser beam reflected in a distance measurement region; and a condenser lens (35) that is disposed on the rotation center axis (R10) and that condenses the reflected beam reflected by the mirror (34) on the photodetector (37). The mirror (34) has a shape elongated in one direction, and is disposed such that a short axis is inclined with respect to the rotation center axis (R10) in a direction parallel to a plane including the rotation center axis (R10). When seen in the direction parallel to the rotation center axis (R10), the width of the mirror (34) in the short-axis direction is less than that of a lens part of the condenser lens (35).
