Abstract:
This distance measurement device (100) is configured to irradiate an object with a transmission wave and detect a reflected wave from the object irradiated with the transmission wave so as to measure a distance to the object. A transmission window (121) transmits at least one of the transmission wave and the reflected wave. A heater (20) is configured to heat the transmission window. A control unit (30) is configured to control energization of the heater in accordance with an external air temperature that is an air temperature outside the distance measurement device and the speed of a vehicle.
