Abstract:
A distance measurement method and apparatus, and a terminal device and a vehicle, which relate to the technical field of intelligent driving and autonomous driving. The distance measurement method comprises: acquiring a first image photographed by a camera in a traveling direction of a first vehicle (S401); obtaining a slope angle of a road ahead of the first vehicle according to the first image (S402); obtaining a first photographing direction according to the slope angle of the road ahead of the first vehicle and a slope angle of a road in which the first vehicle is located (S404); adjusting a photographing viewing angle of the camera according to the first photographing direction (S405); receiving a second image photographed by the camera after the photographing angle is adjusted (S408); and according to the second image, calculating the distance between the first vehicle and a second vehicle (S409). By means of the distance measurement method, if an image which is subsequently photographed by a camera comprises obstacles such as other vehicles and pedestrians, the calculated distance between a vehicle and an obstacle is more accurate.
