Abstract:
A distance measuring apparatus relating to one embodiment comprises: a display unit; a memory in which map information of golf courses is stored; a position acquiring sensor for acquiring a current position; an azimuth sensor for measuring an azimuth; and a control unit, which reads, from the memory, the map information of golf courses corresponding to the current position, and uses the map information so as to display, on the display unit, a course map image on which an object corresponding to the current position and a virtual line corresponding to the azimuth are displayed.
