Abstract:
A transmission processing section (7) transmits a R/W request signal for requesting transmission of a tag response signal to an RFID tag (1) twice by different transmission frequencies. A phase information acquiring section (8A) detects each phase of tag response signals transmitted by the different transmission frequencies, and based on the phase difference, a distance computing section (8B) computes a distance between a reader writer (2) and the RFID tag (1). An output control section (7D) controls an output level of a transmission signal based on the distance computed by the distance computing section (8B).
