Abstract:
This distance measuring device comprises: a light source that emits a light beam; a scanning device that carries out a beam scan for changing the emission direction of the light beam; a light detector that receives reflected light from measurement points of an object irradiated with the light beam, and outputs a detection signal; a processing circuit that calculates the distance to the measurement points on the basis of the detection signal; and a control circuit that controls the scanning device. The control circuit determines an angular step of the beam scan to reduce density differences between the measurement points in each region of the object.
