Abstract:
A distance measuring device (10) is provided with a control unit (103) and a distance calculating unit (105). In a first time period, the control unit (103) sets a first measurement time range which corresponds to a first measurement distance range, and causes a light emitting unit (101) to emit emission light so as to keep a light receiving unit (102) exposed to light during the first measurement time range. Further, in a second time period, the control unit (103) sets a second measurement time range which corresponds to a second measurement distance range, and causes the light emitting unit (101) to emit emission light so as to keep the light receiving unit (102) exposed to light during the second measurement time range. Here, at least one measurement condition is different between the first time period and the second time period. The distance calculating unit (105) calculates the distance from the distance measuring device (10) to an object (60) to be measured, on the basis of the time interval from a time at which the light emitting unit (101) emits emission light to a time at which the light receiving unit (102) receives the reflected light of the emission light at least in the first time period or the second time period.
