Abstract:
A distance sensor is provided which can reduce power consumption even when resolution is increased, and can ease the speed limitation of the data output bandwidth. The distance measurement device is provided with: a light receiving unit which comprises a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix, each having a light-receiving element that converts, to an electric signal, reflected light from a target area that has received light; a distance measurement processing unit which comprises a plurality of signal processing modules that perform signal processing on the basis of the electric signals outputted for each pixel and calculate the distance to the target area, and that that allow independent control of a power supply; and a control unit which performs power supply control of the multiple signal processing modules in response to an input signal.
