Abstract:
A distortion compensation circuit according to the present invention comprises: a first distortion compensation circuit that has first a distortion compensation property for compensating for a first distortion occurring in the output of an amplifier, and that compensates for the first distortion; a second distortion compensation circuit that has a second distortion compensation property for compensating for a second distortion occurring in the output of the amplifier, and that compensates for the second distortion; and an update unit that updates the second distortion compensation property. The first distortion includes non-linear distortion and memory effect distortion, and the second distortion is distortion that has shorter temporal variation than the first distortion. The update unit updates the second distortion compensation property at a frequency higher than the update frequency of the first distortion compensation property.
