Abstract:
Disclosed are a distributed NAT dual-system hot backup traffic switching system and method. The system comprises: a master device, a backup device, and a router connected to a public network. The master device is configured to issue a high priority route to the router on the basis of a configured NAT table of each service CPU in the master device, and when a service CPU of the master device fails, send to the backup device a notification message about the service CPU failure, and withdraw a public network route belonging to the failed service CPU. The backup device is configured to issue a low priority route to the router on the basis of a configured NAT table of each service CPU in the backup device, and switch the status of a service entry of a service CPU corresponding to the failed service CPU in the master device to a master state when receiving the notification message. The NAT tables of the service CPUs in the master device and the backup device are the same.
