Abstract:
The present invention relates to a distributed optical fiber sensor device and a method for controlling same. The sensor device comprises: a first measuring unit for applying a first wavelength variable optical signal to a sensing optical fiber and detecting Rayleigh scattered light which is scattered from the sensing optical fiber; a second measuring unit for detecting Brillouin scattered light which is generated in the sensing optical fiber when a probe light and a pump light are incident through opposite ends of the sensing optical fiber and progress in opposite directions; and a signal processing unit for controlling the operations of the first measuring unit and the second measuring unit, and obtaining a strain and a temperature of the sensing optical fiber according to a position from the Rayleigh scattered light detected by the first measuring unit and the Brillouin scattered light detected by the second measuring unit.
