Abstract:
This distributed storage system comprises multiple nodes that communicate via a network, said nodes including a first node, a second node, and a third node. The first node contains a first storage device. The second node contains a second storage device. The third node contains a third storage device. The first node stores a first data unit in the first storage device, and transmits the first data unit to the third node. The second node stores a second data unit in the second storage device, and transmits the second data unit to the third node. The third node generates a redundant code by using the first data unit and the second data unit, and stores the redundant code in the third storage device.
