Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to allow avoiding unnecessary consumption of a mobile network band, and to allow distribution which corresponds to fluctuations in throughput. A distribution network system comprises a plurality of servers upon a mobile network. The servers function as either cache or proxy servers, and temporarily accumulate in accumulation units duplicates of at least a portion of content which a distribution server has upon the Internet. The server which has content which is requested is assessed using information which is included in a content request message from the communication terminal. A file or stream of the content which is requested is read out from the assessed server. The mobile network band is estimated for motion content on the basis of either a response signal from the communication terminal or a signal which issues a notification of a congestion state. The read out file or stream is transmitted with the timing of the transmission controlled so as not to exceed the estimated band.
