Abstract:
Provided is a distribution server or the like which distributes a game play screen of an online game and causes comments posted by a viewer to be displayed in a display mode corresponding to the status of the game play. The distribution server 100 distributes a game play screen of an online game. The distribution server 100 is provided with: a status acquisition unit 141 which acquires a game play status; a comment reception unit 142 which receives a comment posted by a viewer; a distribution unit 143 which distributes a distribution screen including the game play screen and the comment received by the comment reception unit 142; and a display mode control unit 144 which, in accordance with the game play status acquired by the status acquisition unit 141, controls the display mode for the comment.
