Abstract:
Provided is a distribution system comprising a key generation device and an in-vehicle computer mounted in a vehicle. The key generation device comprises: a key generation unit that uses a master key and a vehicle identifier of the vehicle to generate a first key; and a first key distribution unit that uses an initial common key of the vehicle to generate a first key update request message, and transmits the first key update request message to the in-vehicle computer. The in-vehicle computer comprises: an interface unit that transmits and receives data to and from a device external to the in-vehicle computer; a storage unit that stores the initial key; and a key update unit that uses the initial key and the first key update request message received from the key generation device to update the initial key to the first key, and uses the first key to generate a first update completion message. The first update completion message is transmitted to the key generation device by the interface unit, and the first key distribution unit verifies the received first update completion message on the basis of the first key.
