Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a cover mounted on the upper part of a drainage channel formed in the street. The cover has a pair of side plates arranged opposite to each other while being spaced apart from each other. The improvement of the cover for drainage channels includes bent plates each comprising an upper plate part vertically disposed between the side plates, a front bent plate part formed integrally with the upper plate part while being bent downward at the front end of the upper plate part, and a rear bent plate part formed integrally with the upper plate part while being bent downward at the rear end of the upper plate part. The bent plates are securely attached to the inner surfaces of the side plates in large numbers while the top surfaces of the upper plate parts are flush with the top ends of the side plates. Between the bent plates are defined drainage openings.
