Abstract:
Novel glutathione reductase activity intensifiers, which are compounds having general formula (I) and pharmacologically acceptable salts, thioesters, and other derivatives thereof, wherein m is 0 or 1; n is 2 when m is 0, and n is 1 when m is 1; k is an integer of 0 to 12; R?1¿ is hydrogen, one member selected from substituents $g(a), etc.; A is a group having -N(R?2¿)CO-, -CON(R?2¿)CO-, or -CON(R?2¿)SO¿2?- (R?2¿ is hydrogen, alkyl, etc.), etc; and B is a single bond, -N(R?5¿)- (R?5¿ is hydrogen, alkyl, etc.), etc. [Substituents $g(a)] optionally substituted aryls, optionally substituted heterocyclic groups [Substituents $g(b)] alkyls, halogenated lower alkyls, etc. [Substituents $g(g)] lower alkoxys, hydroxy, etc.
