Abstract:
A diversity receiver for receiving diversity signals from a plurality of branches comprises noise amount calculating circuits for calculating the noise amounts of the respective branches and a diversity combining circuit which compares the calculated noise amounts and varies the diversity combining ratio according to the noise amount of the power of the branch including the larger noise amount.
