Abstract:
A DLP projection module comprising: a projection lighting system (10), which comprises: an LED light source, a light source collimation system, a beam-splitting lens set, and a complex-eye lens or light rod; an optical path guidance system (20); a DMD light modulator (30); a projection lens set (40); an accommodating cavity (50) used for packaging sequentially the described optical components and extending in two different directions; and a heat dissipating module. The optical path guidance system (20) comprises a prism component used for guiding a lighting beam coming from the projection lighting system (10) to the DMD light modulator (30); the shorter side (30a) of the DMD light modulator (30) is parallel to the direction in which a projection beam exits the projection lens set (40); and the angle between the two direction in which the accommodating cavity (50) extends is 90-110 degrees. The DLP projection module has a simple and rational structure and a compact layout, the optical path guidance system (20) obviates the use of a mirror, thus greatly increasing the projection lighting brightness, and increasing projection quality.
