Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel DNA aptamer useful for the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, the prevention of metastasis of lung cancer and the like. A DNA aptamer which is characterized by having at least one nucleotide sequence selected from sequences respectively represented by SEQ ID NOs: 1 and 2, and is also characterized by being capable of binding specifically to a non-small cell lung cancer cell; a composition for detecting a lung cancer cell, which contains the DNA aptamer; a kit for detecting a lung cancer cell, which contains the DNA aptamer; a method for detecting lung cancer, which is characterized by using the DNA aptamer; a detection method comprising a step of bringing the DNA aptamer into contact with a sample collected from a living body, selected from the group consisting of a lung cell, a lung tissue, blood, serum, plasma, saliva and sputum and a step of observing a response associated with the binding of the sample to the DNA aptamer to detect the presence of a lung cancer cell; a pharmaceutical composition for preventing the metastasis of lung cancer or treating lung cancer, which contains the DNA aptamer; and a drug delivery system for preventing the metastasis of lung cancer or treating lung cancer, which contains the DNA aptamer.
