Abstract:
This docking system comprises: a first passenger boarding bridge (100A) and a second passenger boarding bridge (100B) which are installed at a terminal building (300); a detector (30) which is equipped on the first passenger boarding bridge (100A); and a controller (50) which receives an output signal from the detector (30). While the first passenger boarding bridge (100A) is in motion after and/or before being docked to an aircraft (200), the controller (50) acquires the positional data of the first passenger boarding bridge (100A) using the detector (30), calculates the docking position data of the second passenger boarding bridge (100B) when docking the second passenger boarding bridge (100B) to the aircraft using the positional data, the known data obtained from the airframe of the aircraft (200), and the known data obtained from the terminal building (300), and controls the automatic docking of the second passenger boarding bridge (100B) to the aircraft (200) on the basis of the docking position data.
