Abstract:
As a document analysis system for calculating the similarity degree between two texts with high accuracy, an information processing device is provided with a common character string calculation unit which extracts character strings common between two texts to assess whether or not the two texts should be objects to be calculated on the basis of the number of common character strings that have been extracted, and a similarity degree calculation unit for calculating the similarity degree between the two texts using an approximation of the Kolmogorov complexity of same if the two texts are included in the assessed objects to be calculated and treating the similarity of the two texts as dissimilar if the texts are not objects to be calculated.
