Abstract:

Disclosed in the present application are a document display method and a device related thereto. The method comprises: after a first jump request, which is triggered by a first user on a first document, is received, determining, according to an identifier to be used that is carried by the first jump request and is used for uniquely identifying a second document, whether there is historical browsing state data of the second document, such that when it is determined that there is historical browsing state data of the second document, display control is performed on the second document according to said identifier and the historical browsing state data of the second document. In this way, a second document can be displayed in a browsing state recorded in historical browsing state data, such that the second document, which is being displayed, can be restored to the browsing state in which the second document was presented when the second document was displayed last time. Therefore, the adverse effect caused by document jumping can be effectively overcome, such that the document sharing effect can be improved, and thus the document sharing experience of a user can be improved.
