Abstract:
A document search device 12 stores a plurality of instances of document data in which a plurality of different words in original documents have been converted into codes of respectively different fixed lengths. A user terminal 14 transmits to the document search device 12 a search request which designates a plurality of words and which designates, with a quantity of words, a range in which the plurality of words are to be present. The document search device 12 acquires the fixed-length codes which correspond to each of the plurality of words which have been designated in the search request, and derives a character quantity reference range according to the word quantity reference range which has been designated in the search request and the fixed-length codes. The document search device 12 executes a neighborhood search with the codes of the plurality of words and the character quantity reference range as conditions, and extracts from the plurality of instances of document data the instances of document data which satisfy the conditions.
