Abstract:
A Doherty amplifier (100) is provided with: amplifiers (8, 9) that include a main amplifier (8) and an auxiliary amplifier (9); output circuits (10, 13) for increasing a back-off amount that include a first output circuit (10) provided between the main amplifier (8) and an output synthesis part (18) for the amplifiers (8, 9) and having a first electrical length (θ1), and a second output circuit (13) provided between the auxiliary amplifier (9) and the output synthesis part (18) and having a second electrical length (θ2); and a frequency characteristic compensation circuit (15) for band-broadening that is provided electrically in parallel to the first output circuit (10) and that compensates frequency characteristics of impedance at the output circuits (10, 13).
