Abstract:
The present invention relates to a domestic combined heat and power system. The domestic combined heat and power system is equipped with a power unit, a heat-storage tank which receives the waste heat of the power unit and stores the heat in mains water, and a main heat exchanger which is connected to the heat-storage tank and is heated by means of a burner so as to allow use as hot water or heating water; and features of the domestic combined heat and power system which is provided are that: a waste-heat heat exchanger filled with a heat-transfer medium is provided between the power unit and the heat-storage tank, and, provided running in the form of a coil on one side inside of the waste-heat heat exchanger there is a waste-heat pipe of the power unit while provided running in the form of a coil on the other side there is a heat-storage pipe of the heat-storage tank such that the waste heat of the power unit undergoes indirect heat exchange to the heat-storage tank via the heat-transfer medium; hot-water piping coming out from the heat-storage tank runs through a hot-water heat exchanger so as to allow indirect heat exchange; and heating piping coming out from the heat-storage tank is connected to the heating-water heat exchanger, and part of the heating piping comes out again and runs through the hot-water heat exchanger so as to allow indirect heat exchange. The present invention is advantageous in that, because the power unit and the heat-storage tank entail transfer via an indirect heat-exchange technique, costs and energy wastage are reduced, and there is sharing of functions that are duplicated across the heat-storage tank and a boiler such that efficient system design is possible, variability of form and compatibility are enhanced, and the system volume is reduced such that installation space can be more effectively used.
