Abstract:
Provided is a door attaching method enabling highly accurate door assembly. This door attaching method includes: a primary tightening step of using bolts (25) to tighten a hinge (5, 6) to an attachment surface (41, 42) of a vehicle body; a door panel position measuring step of measuring the relative position of a door panel (4) inside an opening portion, with a door (3) in a cantilevered state, and with the hinge (5, 6) in a primarily tightened state; a loosening step of loosening the tightening; a door position correcting step of correcting the position of the door (3) by moving the door (3) within the plane of the attachment surface (41, 42) on the basis of the measurement results obtained in the door panel position measuring step; and a secondary tightening step of re-tightening the hinge (5, 6) to the attachment surface (41, 42). In the sequence of steps comprising the primary tightening step, the door panel position measuring step, the loosening step, the door position correcting step, and the secondary tightening step, the hinge (5, 6) is gripped using a clamp (17, 18) to maintain a state in which the hinge is caused to abut the attachment surface (41, 42).
