Description:
DOOR COMPONENT OF CLOTHES DRYING DEVICE

The present invention relates to a door component of a clothes drying device, the door component including a frame, wherein a window pane sinking towards an inside of the device and a guard plate located outside the window pane are mounted on the frame. A door component used for closing a clothes input opening is generally disposed at a clothes drying device. The door component includes a frame, in which a window pane sinking towards an inside of the device and a guard plate located outside the window pane are mounted on the frame. The window pane and the guard plate are generally two separate members, between which an open and air filled space is formed. Such a door component is disclosed in document CN 100 449 051 C corresponding to U. S: Patent 7,299,666 and EP 1 334 228 B1 .

In a drying process of the clothes drying device, the window pane is in direct contact with heated air in a tumbler, so as to absorb a part of heat of the air. The heat on the window pane is further conducted to the air between the window pane and the guard plate. Since the space between the window pane and the guard plate is open, and the air in the space is in direct communication with the atmosphere outside the clothes drying device, a part of heat received by the air between the window pane and the guard plate is directly conducted to the air outside the device, and the other part of the heat is conducted to the air outside the device through the guard plate. Such heat loss results in energy waste, and meanwhile a drying efficiency of the device is also influenced.

A purpose of the present invention is to reduce heat conduction performance of a door component of a clothes drying device, thereby reducing heat loss in a drying process of the device.

The above purpose is achieved through the technical solution defined in the attached independent claim. Preferred embodiments of the invention are defined in dependent claims as well as in the subsequent description.

Accordingly, a door component of a clothes drying device includes a frame; a window pane sinking towards an inside of the device and a guard plate located outside the window pane are mounted on the frame, a sealed space is formed between the window pane and the guard plate, and the sealed space is in a vacuum status or filled with a material with a lower thermal conductivity than that of air.

Since a sealed space is formed between the window pane and the guard plate, heat absorbed on the window pane cannot be directly conducted to outside air. Additionally, since the sealed space is in a vacuum status or filled with a material with a lower thermal conductivity than that of air, the thermal conductivity between the window pane and the guard plate is effectively reduced, thereby reducing the heat conducted to the outside atmosphere through the guard plate. It can be seen that the door component may effectively reduce the heat loss of the clothes drying device. The guard plate and the window pane are in an integrated structure, so that the assembly may be simplified, and meanwhile the sealability is also better. In addition, the following structure may be further adopted: the window pane is substantially in a cup-like structure, and a cup edge of the cup-like structure is connected with the guard plate hermetically. The present invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description of a particularly preferred embodiment and with reference to the attached drawing, the description given hereinbelow for illustration only and thus not limitative of the present invention. In the drawing,

FIG. 1 is a three-dimensional view of a tumbler of a clothes drying device; and FIG. 2 is a sectional view of a window pane and a guard plate in FIG. 1.

As shown in FIG. 1 , a clothes drying device 10 includes a cabinet 2. A control panel 4 and a front panel 6 are disposed at a side facing a user of the cabinet 2. The front panel 6 has a clothes input/output opening 16 in communication with a drying cylinder (not shown). A door component 8 is hinged on the front panel 6 and used for opening or closing the clothes input/output opening 16. The door component includes a substantially ring-shaped frame 12, and a handle 14 and a door body 24 mounted on the frame 12.

As shown in FIG. 2, the door body 24 includes a window pane 18 sinking toward the inside of the drying device 10 and a guard plate 20 located outside the window pane 18, and a sealed space 22 is formed between the window pane 18 and the guard plate 20. As a specific implementation manner, the window pane 18 and the guard plate 20 are in an integrated structure, and are preferably made of glass.

As another specific implementation manner, the window pane 18 and the guard plate 20 are two separate members, and the guard plate 20 may be made of glass, and may also be made of other suitable materials. Preferably, the material of the guard plate 20 should be transparent, and has a low thermal conductivity. The window pane 18 is substantially in a cup-like structure, and a cup edge 26 of the cup-like structure is connected with the guard plate 20 hermetically. Specifically, a sealing ring may be disposed between the cup edge 26 of the window pane 18 and the guard plate 20 or a colloid material is coated therebetween.

Preferably, the sealed space 22 is evacuated vacuum, or as an alternative solution, the sealed space 22 is filled with a material with a thermal conductivity lower than that of air, for example, polyurethane.

Various specific embodiments described in the foregoing and shown in accompanying drawing are only used for illustrating the invention, and the invention is not limited thereto. Within the scope of the basic technical concept of the invention, any types of modifications to the invention made by persons of ordinary skill in the art fall within the protection scope of the invention.
