Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide techniques that make it possible to improve the ease of assembly of a door component to a door panel. This door component comprises a grommet that is assembled to a door panel transversely to a portion of the periphery of the door panel, and a weather strip that is assembled to the door panel so as to extend along the periphery. The grommet includes a first cylindrical section and a second cylindrical section that are formed to open in different directions from each other. The weather strip has a first end section and a second end section along a longitudinal direction thereof. The first end section of the weather strip is fitted into the first cylindrical section, and the second end section is fitted into the second cylindrical section.
