Abstract:

A door control device of an elevator, comprising an obstacle sensor for detecting an obstacle near the vertical frame of an entrance frame and outputting an obstacle detection signal and a door control part for controlling the opening and closing operations of the doors of a car and a platform according to the obstacle detection signal, the obstacle sensor further comprising a light emitter installed on the vertical frame of the entrance frame and a light receiver installed on the upper frame of the entrance frame, wherein the light emitter is installed near the lower end part of the vertical frame and emits detection light generally along the vertical frame, and the light receiver is installed on the lower surface of the upper frame and receives the detection light.
