Disclosed are a door frame assembly applied to a microwave oven, and a method and device for controlling the door frame assembly, which belong to the field of smart homes. The door frame assembly comprises: a door sheet (110), and a door frame (120) connected to the door sheet (110) by means of a door hinge. At least some regions of the door sheet (110) are arranged opposite the door frame (120). A first region (111), opposite the door frame (120), of the door sheet (110) is provided with a first-type magnet, and a second region (121), opposite the first region (111), of the door frame (120) is provided with a second-type magnet. The door frame assembly further comprises a control chip (130) and a distance sensor (140) connected to each other. The invention solves the problem that a user may not be able to push or pull a door of the microwave oven when the user pushes or pulls the door of the microwave oven with a strength insufficient for moving the door, such that the user may not be able to normally open and close the door, and achieves the effect of, when the user pushes or pulls the door of the microwave oven, the microwave oven automatically generating an auxiliary force in the same direction as the moving direction of the door so as to reduce the strength the user needs when pushing or pulling the door.
