Title:
DOOR HANDLE DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/105434
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a door handle device for an automobile, which comprises a handle (3) for moving between a door closing position and a door opening position, a lever (4) for turning from a standby position to an unlocking position in response to the operation of the handle (3) from the door closing position to the door opening position, thereby to unlock a door locking mechanism, and a stopper member (5) disposed rotatably in a bracket (2) for moving between a standby position, at which it does not interfere with the retaining portion (3a) of the handle (3), and an interference position, at which it interferes with the retaining portion (3a), and urged to the side of the standby position. When a shocking acceleration directed to move the handle (3) from the door closing position to the door opening position is inputted to the door body, the stopper member (5) is moved by that shocking acceleration against the biasing force of the spring from the standby position to the interference position, thereby to block the movement of the lever (4) to the lock releasing position. A shock absorbing member (12) is disposed in a mating side rotation regulating portion (2a), against which the stopper side rotation regulating portion of the stopper member (5) abuts at the interference position.
