Abstract:
The invention is related to the hinge system which is designed to prevent the door wing and hinges to hit approaching surface, to prevent door wing and hinge damaging and to perform its full function when opening and closing during when the vehicle, that are used for transporting in trailer, semi trailer and trucks, goes near to the approaching surface with the aim of loading and unloading with doors are open. Today, in many trailer and semi trailer vehicles, door wings and hinges hit the approaching surface before the clearing block when they are open and get damage. Because of these damages, high amount of service cost manpower loss occur. The door hinge system, which is the subject of invention, hinge part design and door section are modified. New hinge system locks the first hinge axis when the door opens and after that the hinge completes its movement by turning around the second axis. During the door opening, the hinge that is welded on the back bollard continues on slot axis and when the opening is completed the door wing and the hinge stay in a completely safe area. By this means, when the door wing opens completely, the door wing and the hinge take a position behind a safe distance. As a result of this, damage on the door wing and hinges or breaking is prevented. Therefore, the functionality of the latches that stay on the hinge section and the door wing provide convenience of the hinge working system. New hinge system to be used in trailers/semi trailers (1) consist of trailer and semi trailer back door (2), bollard (3), hinge (4), ring (5), hinge pin (6), hinge slot (7), hinge shaft (8) and tabs (9).

CLAIMS

1 . The invention is the door hinqe used in trailers and semi trailers and it consists of trailer and semi trailer back door (2), bollard (3), hinge (4), ring (5), hinge pin (6), hinge slot (7), hinge shaft (8) and gabs (9).

2. As in Claim 1 , it is a door hinqe used in trailer and semi trailer vehicles and the ring (5), hinge pin (6), hinge slot (7) and hinge shaft (8) parts come together and constitute hinge (4) assembly.

3. As in Claim 2, it is a door hinqe used in trailer and semi trailer vehicles and it protects the functionality of the gabs (9) that are on the hinge (4). 4. As in Claim 2, it is door hinqe used in trailer and semi trailer vehicles and its feature is that hinge (4) material is manufactured from aluminum and steel material.

Description:
SPECIFICATION

Door Hinge Used In Trailer and Semi-Trailer Vehicles Technical field related to the invention;

The invention is related to the hinge system which is designed to prevent the door wing and hinges to hit approaching surface, to prevent door wing and hinge damaging and to perform its full function when opening and closing during when the vehicle, that are used for transporting in trailer, semi trailer and trucks, goes near to the approaching surface with the aim of loading and unloading with doors are open.

Known state of the technique: Today, in many trailer and semi trailer vehicles, door wings and hinges hit the approaching surface before the clearing block when they are open and get damage. Because of these damages, high amount of service cost manpower loss occur.

When the door wing and hinges hit to the approaching surface and get damage, it constitutes problems in transportation, load safety and environmental safety. Besides, the heavily damaged parts due to this situation, the hinges that breaks or during loading cannot work properly again, liquid, dust and other impurities infiltrates into the vehicle and the transportation cannot be performed safely. Broken hinges and damaged door wing violates the load safety, environment safety, custom laws and sealing point.

Besides, present hinge working system works as a biaxial hinge system that works between 0° and 270°. During the hinges running, the re is no mechanism or stopping apparatus that locks the axis. In this case, when the door is fully open, door wing and the hinges stays in the safe zone during approaching so there is a risk of damage as a result of crash. Technical problems that the invention intends to solve:

The door hinge system, which is the subject of invention, hinge part design and door section are modified. Therefore, the functionality of the latches that stays on the hinge section and the door wing provide convenience of the hinge working system.

With this hinge system which is the subject of invention, operating life of door wing and hinges extend and necessary working safety is ensured in order to prevent the vehicle door and hinges get damage. The system does not constitute any difficulty during the door opening and closing and it also ensures load safety, custom laws and sealing point. In order the invention to reach its aims, the figures of the used parts are included in the annex and of these figures:

New hinge system to be used in trailers/semi trailers (1 ) consist of trailer and semi trailer back door (2), bollard (3), hinge (4), ring (5), hinge pin (6), hinge slot (7), hinge shaft (8) and tabs (9).

Door Hinge Connection Assembly Used in Trailers and Semi Trailer Vehicles:

Door (2) and hinge (4) are fixed with hinge shaft whose connection is slip on. Assembly of the door wing (2) mounted with hinge (4) on the bollard is performed by hinge slot (7) and hinge (4) and ring (5) connection holes alignment and providing the coaxiality and then mounting the hinge pin (6) top down. This process is repeated for all the hinges (4) on the door.

Even the mounted hinge (4) and door (2) vehicle inside and door (2) surface are exposed to load, hinge (4) and fasteners do not loosen, they do not constitute an obstacle for working and conformity is ensured with custom laws standard and sealing point.
