Abstract:
This door impact beam comprises: a beam body which has a shape that is elongated along one direction; and mounting portions which are mounted to each end of the beam body and mounted to the interior of the door. The beam body has: a pair of vertical walls which, in a section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, face each other in the width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction; and a top panel which connects the top ends of the pair of vertical walls. The top panel is formed with a corrugated portion which includes a plurality of protrusions that have a shape protruding in the height direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the width direction and are arranged side by side in the width direction while extending in the longitudinal direction, and which form an uneven shape in an area further towards the top panel than the neutral plane with respect to bending in the height direction.
