Abstract:
In order to ensure that a lock mechanism functions in an emergency, an electric release mechanism 5 has a rotary cam 52 that rotates, by means of power of a motor 51, from a reference position in a forward or backward direction against a biasing force of a spring 54, and that can return to the reference position by means of the biasing force of the spring 54 after the rotation. When a lock mechanism 4 is in a locked state and the rotary cam 52 rotates by a prescribed angle from the reference position in the forward direction against the biasing force of the spring 54 by means of the power of the motor 51, a latch mechanism 2 is operated to release engagement to cause switching of the lock mechanism 4 to an unlocked state from the locked state. Then, when the rotary cam 52 is to return to the reference position, by means of the biasing force of the spring 54, from the position reached after the rotation by the prescribed angle, switching of the lock mechanism 4 to the locked state from the unlocked state occurs.
