Abstract:
The present invention relates to a door robot having a security function and a method for monitoring security using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a door robot having a security function and a method for monitoring security using the same, wherein various security risks attempted by people who are not authorized to enter/exit can be monitored, and the user can be instantly provided with information regarding whether a security risk has occurred or not and the evidence material thereof. In addition, the present invention comprises: an imaging portion; an authentication portion for comparing an image of a face area detected from an image taken by the imaging portion with a plurality of pre-stored face images for authentication, thereby performing authentication; a control portion configured such that, when an image change exists in the image taken by the imaging portion, and when a face area is detected, the authentication portion is controlled to perform a normal authentication procedure, and the door is then opened/closed according to the authentication result, and, when the image change exists, but no face area is detected, the control portion sets the image taken by the imaging portion as an evidence image and switches to a security mode; and a communication portion for transmitting the evidence image and a security notification to the user terminal. Accordingly, not only is the user provided with information regarding security risks, including an attempt to enter/exit by a person who is not authorized to enter/exit, an attempt to hinder imaging, and an attempt to break the door robot, but the security performance can also be improved by performing appropriate security operations.
