Description:
DESCRIPTION

DOOR SLIDE SYSTEM USED IN FURNITURE THE RELATED ART

The invention relates to a slide system used in furniture products, which is low cost, easy to use, and prevents cabinet doors from shaking or dislocating during operation, adverse movements, and harsh opening/closing movements, thanks to its technical components. The invention particularly relates to a slide system comprising a slide profile used to allow cabinet doors to be moved on the cabinet and prevent cabinet doors from dislocating in case of any adverse movement, an interconnection body increasing strength and bearing wheels, and a connection apparatus ensuring the connection between the cabinet door and the slide system. THE PRIOR ART

When we say furniture, wooden furniture is the first thing that comes to mind. Especially, wooden materials are mostly used in housing equipments such as table, wardrobe, bedstead, nightstand, and bookcase and in various office equipments, school desks and tables. Nowadays, even though use of other materials such as steel, aluminum, glass, and plastic have started in making of furniture, chipboard, melamine coated chipboard, mdf, massive, ladin etc. materials still continue to be popular in this regard.

Nowadays, various furniture products are used in indoor and outdoor spaces. The distinctive features of the furniture used are provided by the mechanisms and accessories found on the furniture. Even if consumers want to use the same furniture for a long time; dislocation, shaking, deformation, and abrasion of these mechanisms do not allow long time use. At this point, it is important that the mechanisms on the furniture, and therefore the doors/covers do not dislocate.

Lately, with the effect of existing living conditions, furniture manufacturers have given priority to slides and sliding door systems to save from space in wardrobes and other cloakroom, buffet, console etc. products in bedrooms. Research and development studies are continuously made in this field. However, although the mechanisms vary widely within themselves and generate solutions, there are still many problems that remain to be solved. The most significant problems in the prior art are the jumping and removal/dislocation of doors; which is almost inevitable in narrow doors. And this poses severe restrictions on the design of furniture in research and development departments. Research and development departments spend considerable time, effort and resources to solve this problem. Said systems cause significant losses in terms of cost and failure. In the prior art, the commonly used equipment mechanisms such as cabinet doors of furniture are deformed due to friction, wear, and impact. This causes maintenance and repair requirements, which leads to both loss of time and financial loss.

As a result, a novel cabinet slide system mechanism is needed, which eliminates all of these negativities, and provides ease of use, a practical operation system, and a long lasting life of operation.

PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION

From the known status of the art, the purpose of the invention is to develop a novel slide mechanism embodiment which eliminates the negativities in the prior art embodiments.

The purpose of the invention is to provide a slide system for moving cabinet doors on cabinets and preventing cabinet doors from dislocating due to any reverse movement.

Another purpose of the invention is to ensure simple opening and closing of cabinet doors without using force and avoid maintenance and repair costs by providing strength.

Another purpose of the invention is to develop a multi-functional, practical, and long- life cabinet slide mechanism. Another purpose of the invention is to provide a slide profile that is positioned under and above the wheels in order to prevent cabinet doors from dislocating. Another purpose of the invention is to develop a slide system with low production and labor costs and simple maintenance, since it consists of a small number of components.

In order to achieve the above said purposes, the invention is a slide system used in furniture products, which is low cost, easy to use, and prevents cabinet doors from dislocating in case of adverse movements, by means of the technical components found thereon, and comprises: a slide profile used to allow cabinet doors to be moved on the cabinet and prevent cabinet doors from dislocating in case of any adverse movement,an interconnection body bearing the wheels positioned in the slide profile and used for increasing the strength of the area where the wheels are connected and made of at least one piece, and a connection apparatus consisting of at least one piece, connected to the cabinet door at one end and to the interconnection body at the other end, and used for ensuring operation of the cabinet door and the cabinet independent from each other. It comprises a wheel dislocation stop positioned in an indentation found at the middle part of the wheel formed on said slide profile, and ensuring that the wheel in said cabinet door remains in the slot in case of an adverse force/movement applied on the cabinet door, and a wheel motion track positioned in the indentation found at the middle part of the wheel, and used for allowing back-and-forth movement of the cabinet door on a track and limiting the movement of the wheel in any other direction than the direction of opening and closing of the cabinet door. In the connection apparatus used in the system, an interconnection body connection area formed for connection of the connection apparatus to the interconnection body and a door connection area formed for connection of the connection apparatus to the cabinet door are found.

The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all of its advantages shall be understood better with the figures and the detailed description given below in reference to the figures. Therefore, the assessment should be made by taking into account the said figures and detailed explanations. FIGURES FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE INVENTION

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention is a slide system (200) used in systems with doors and it comprises a wheel dislocation stop (210), a wheel motion track (220), an interconnection body (300), a connection apparatus (400), an interconnection body connection area (410), a work area (420), a door connection area (430), and a wheel (600) and mounting component (700).

In the invention, cabinet doors (500) are allowed to move on a cabinet (100) and cabinet doors (500) are prevented from dislocating in case of an adverse movement. Figure 1 is a demounted view showing the slide system according to the invention on a cabinet. Figure 2 is a demounted view of an interconnection body (300), a connection apparatus (400), and wheels (600). In the system, first of all, the slide profile (200) shown in Figure 3 is connected to the cabinet (100). Afterwards, the wheels (600) are connected onto the interconnection body (300) shown in Figure 4, and the interconnection body (300) having wheels (600) is driven into the slide profile (200). During the driving operation, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, the indentation found at the wheel (600) middle part fits into the wheel dislocation stop (210) and wheel motion track (220). The wheel dislocation stop (210) ensures that the cabinet door (500) remains in the slot in case of an adverse movement of the wheel (600). The wheel motion track (220) ensures the back-and-forth movement of the wheel (600) on a track. Another component used in the system is the connection apparatus (400) shown in Figure 5. The connection apparatus (400) comprises an interconnection body connection area (410), a work area (420), and a door connection area (430). During mounting of the connection apparatus (400), the connection apparatus (400) is positioned on the interconnection body (300) by means of the interconnection body connection area (410) found thereon, and on the cabinet doors (500) by means of the door connection area (430), and thus ensures the connection between the cabinet door (500) and the slide system. Figures 8 and 9 provide illustrations for better understanding of the invention. When there is more than one cabinet door (500), the connection apparatuses (400) are used by differing in scale. In some cases, it can be manufactured in two pieces so as to allow shortening and extending the intermediate distance by the user, when required.

The interconnection body (300) can also be produced with a single-piece or more than one piece structure. It allows stronger positioning of the wheel (600).
