Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to implement high-security authentication with a simple configuration by using a terminal device held by a user, without requiring an authentication-dedicated device at a point where the user is authenticated. [Solution] The present invention comprises: an authentication server 1 that remotely controls an electronic lock 5 provided on a door; and a mobile terminal 3 which is carried by a user, is connected to the authentication server over a network, and includes a sensor that acquires biological information of the user and a positioning unit that acquires position information of the device. The authentication server acquires, from the mobile terminal, the biological information of the user acquired by the sensor and the position information of the mobile terminal acquired by the positioning unit, executes a person matching process of matching the biological information of the user with the biological information of a registered person, executes a position matching process of matching the position information of the mobile terminal with the position information of the door, and determines whether to allow the door to be unlocked on the basis of the results of the person matching process and the position matching process.
