Abstract:

The present invention improves the airtightness of an elevator car. A doorway device for an elevator comprises: sliding doors (3) of the type which slide open in opposite directions, the sliding door (3) horizontally opening and closing the doorway (20) of the elevator car; a sill (4) provided below the doorway (20) and guiding the sliding doors (3) in the opening and closing directions; first airtight parts (5) provided at the door contact-side ends of the sliding doors (3) and closing the gap between the sliding doors (3) when the sliding doors are closed; second airtight parts (6) provided at the lower ends of the sliding doors (3) and closing the gap between the sill (4) and the sliding doors (3); and third airtight parts (7) provided at the lower ends of the door contact surfaces of the sliding doors (3) so as to be in contact with the lower ends of the first airtight parts (5) and with the door contact-side ends of the second airtight parts (6) and closing the gap between the sill (4) and the door contact lower part of the sliding doors (3) when the sliding doors are closed.
